Maria Alm is a traditional, picturesque village dominated by a beautiful Churh (Below view from Kitchen Window) Surrounded by numerous cosy cafes, bars and restaurants. Set in the beautiful Hochkonig Region, this resort offers a fantasitic ski area stretching accross several vallees which caters for all abilities. This area which is well known and loved by Austrians it is still little known to the British, therefore pistes are generally quiet with limited queues. There is great skiing for all grades and with an enviable snow record (one of the best in Austria) guests return year after year. There are 150kms of superbly groomed slopes (39 lifts) and 37 mountain restaurants.
